Amanda Ames

I grew up in Boise and my husband and I are thrilled to be able to raise our family in the same great place. We take advantage of any opportunity to explore and participate in our community and indulge in being able to recreate in some of the amazing spaces that our state has to offer. In my career, I have been fortunate to work in community and workforce development for the State of Idaho. From a multitude of public community projects in rural Idaho, to working with various agencies, educational institutions, and Idaho employers to upskill the workforce for the future of Idahoans. Our family was lucky enough to become a part of the Giraffe Laugh family when our oldest son (now almost 9) was entering preschool, and now our youngest is about to graduate from the same program. The amount of care and resources that have been available to our family, and every family, that attends Giraffe Laugh is truly invaluable, and such a necessary service in our community. I’m thrilled to be able to support this organization in another capacity.
