Members of our Big Dreams Society are multi-year donors who believe passionately in the work we do and the “Big Dreams” we have for every child in the Treasure Valley.

No contribution is too small to make a difference and all donations are appreciated and treasured. Following are examples of what your gift will contribute to Giraffe Laugh’s mission:
Early Years:
$52 ($1 per week) provides 2 weeks of lifesaving swimming lessons for a low-income child.
$260 ($5 per week) feeds 130 children a healthy breakfast, lunch and snack for a week.
$520 ($10 per week) provides access to quality care and education in the form of an academic scholarship for a low-income preschool child for one month.
$1040 ($20 per week) provides lifesaving First Aid and CPR for 33 teachers.
School Age:
$52 ($1 per week) provides art supplies for 30 low-income, school aged children to utilize for two weeks.
$260 ($5 per week) provides reading curriculum for ten first-grade students for an entire summer reading camp.
$520 ($10 per week) provides breakfast, lunch and snack for 30 children for an entire month.
$1,040 ($20 per week) provides extracurricular activities for ten low-income children for an entire summer.

On November 30, 2015, Idaho Assistant Minority Leader Rep. Mat Erpelding and his wife Elizabeth suffered the tragic loss of their baby boy, Owen Thomas Erpelding, who was still-born. As a community, we are devastated by this news and want to express our utmost sympathy and support for Mat and Elizabeth as they mourn the loss of their baby.
Mat and Elizabeth, though heartbroken, have established the Owen Thomas Erpelding Memorial Scholarship Fund at Giraffe Laugh Early Learning Centers for those interested in expressing their sympathies and support. The purpose of Owen’s Fund is to provide financial assistance for quality early care and education to children and families who are otherwise unable to afford it. Your thoughtful contribution will help Elizabeth and Mat honor the life of their little boy, and will ensure that Owen’s legacy will have a lasting impact on families in need of crucial assistance during the early years of their children’s development. Contributions in Owen’s name will help make Giraffe Laugh’s services available to additional families in need of that support.

Giraffe Laugh is a local nonprofit that provides early childhood education and nurturing to 150 Treasure Valley children annually by ensuring school readiness, empowering families, and building strong futures.
Giraffe Laugh has two full time centers serving children from birth to five years old, a full-time preschool program that serves children from three and a half to five years old, and a summer program that serves children that are of school-age.
