I am proud to serve as both the Assistant Director and Lead Preschool Teacher for Garden City Giraffe Laugh,
where I bring over 25 years of experience in early childhood education.
I built a strong foundation in practical and organizational skills through vocational training in Business
Management, and I later earned my Child Development Associate (CDA) credential to deepen my knowledge in
early childhood education. After many years in the field, I remain committed to professional growth, continuously
advancing my skills as both an educator and a leader.
Creating a learning environment where children are excited to explore and grow is my passion. There’s nothing
more rewarding than seeing a child’s face light up when they understand something new. Planning lessons around
our students’ interests and fostering a meaningful classroom community keeps teaching fulfilling.
Outside of work, spending time with my husband, kids, grandchildren, and my dog, Finley, brings me joy. Biking
and beachcombing are some of my favorite ways to unwind.
