Ensuring School Readiness
%
Half of all children in Idaho are not prepared for school when they arrive. Giraffe Laugh provides quality education to ensure school readiness for every Giraffe Laugh child.
Empowering Families
3,111 children are abused or neglected each year in Idaho. Child abuse is lowered when parents are empowered and educated. Giraffe Laugh works hard to change this number by empowering families.
Building Strong Futures
%
1 in 5 children go to bed hungry in Ada county every night. With programs like on-site food pantries and extra curricular activities, Giraffe Laugh builds strong futures for children and their families.
About Us
Our Preschool. Our Family. Our Community

Programs
Early Education
When children are born their brains are 25% developed and by the time they leave our program and enter kindergarten their brain is 90% developed. The biggest time of growth occurs during the first 5 years.
Food Pantry
1 in 6 children go to bed hungry in Idaho every night. Through our partnership with the Idaho Foodbank, Giraffe Laugh provides food pantries at all of our sites for families in need to access every day.
Summer School Age Program
More than half of the achievement gap between lower and higher income youth can be explained by unequal access to summer learning opportunities. Giraffe Laugh aims to bridge this gap with our K-6th grade summer program.
Parent Education
3600 children are abused and neglected in Idaho every year. When our parents are empowered and given information, support in times of need, and feel connected, they are less likely to abuse or neglect their children.
Giraffe Laugh Garden City Preschool
Giraffe Laugh has partnered with the Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children to bring a much needed half-day preschool program to the residents of Garden City located in the Boys and Girls Club.
We can see the future from here!
Giraffe Laugh, a local nonprofit, provides early childhood education and nurturing to 200 Treasure Valley children daily, by ensuring school readiness, empowering families, and building strong futures.
